We have assembled a team of talented professionals with a wide domestic experience in all aspects of the industry. As we aim to work with Upscale Chains, Midscale Chains, and Independent Hotel Owners. We understand that each hotel is different and has different needs depending on their goals and marketplace. We recognize that the landscape of the hotel industry has become intricate with time, and that it requires the input of an expert to ensure that revenue is being driven and that the bottom line is met. We aim to help owners with every aspect of their operations and to deliver to that specific objective. In a world that is rapidly changing, it is essential to have the most sophisticated level of knowledge that is possible to lay your hands on. And we believe that with Grant Hotel Group, our clients can access just that. Our leadership team has amassed more than 60 years of hospitality management and development experience, and has gained invaluable insights working with many major hotel chains such as Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, and Choice Hotels. Jerod Grant, the founder, has 17 years of experience in the hotel industry. Throughout the years, he has learned from great industry leaders, and is ready to implement that knowledge and strategies to grow his own brand.

Our goal is to bring a new approach to elevate the service provided in the hospitality industry, thereby allowing the guests to create unforgettable memories with their family and friends. Also we strive to improve the experience for the line-level associates so that they feel honored to be part of such a noble industry. The vision for GHG is to expand as a management and operation company, to create a culture that reflects the goals and values of the company, and to eventually acquire individual hotel properties to continue building our brand.

Management

Stephanie Cody
Director of Sales & Marketing
Stephanie brings her talents and expertise from her many leadership roles in the hospitality industry, over her 15-year career to Grant Hotel Group in the role of Director of Sales & Marketing. Well regarded and well-respected Mrs. Cody has made a name for herself within the industry. Her extensive career has led her to many places prior to arriving at GHG. She studied at John Wood Community College and earned her General Manager and Sales Manager certifications with IHG, Hilton, and Marriott, and she has worked all over the country familiarizing herself with the facets of sales and marketing across many regions and cultures. She has earned various distinctions and awards for her accomplishments. In her role as Director of Sales, awarded her the Sales Excellence Award. Through her work with, she was named Manager of the Year in 2016.

Lauren Rickman
Director of Guest Relations
Lauren brings over twenty years of managerial experience in the service and hotel industries to GPM as the Director of Guest Relations. An award-winning manager, Mrs. Rickman, brings optimism and enthusiasm to every aspect of her role to create an exceptional experience for everyone at GHG.
Mrs. Rickman earned a degree in General Management with a minor in Economics and Management Information Systems from Oakland University in Rocheser, Michigan. She began her career in hotel management as a lead concierge at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island in Tampa, Florida. Her ability to spark joy while motivating those around her helped her climb the managerial ladder quickly to take on roles with larger responsibilities from Front Office Manager to Assistant Center Manager.
Throughout her years as a revered and beloved manager, Mrs. Rickman has won awards for Manager of the Year in 2015 and Employee of the Year in 2012 and 2014. She was a part of teams that won Sales Team of the Year and the team contributing to GM of the Year in 2013.
Mrs. Rickman has brought her can-do attitude and incredible interpersonal skills to GHG's team of executives as the Director of Guest Relations. She is leading the way in creating an exceptional experience for each individual who walks through the doors of a GHG managed property.

Shade Summers
Director of Human Resources
Shadé serves as the Director of Human Resources. With over a decade of experience in the Human Resources field, she brings her background and enthusiasm for the field to Grant Hotel Group.
Before moving into her position at GHG, Ms. Summers earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Armstrong State University and her MBA in Human Resources from Strayer University. She also gained years of experience within various hotel departments. After completing her education, Ms. Summers worked as the Rooms Manager for Hyatt and simultaneously acted as lead human resources within the Rooms Department. She has combined her cross-departmental experience and education to become a trusted and respected Human Resource Executive.
Overseeing the needs of the individuals who make up GHG falls to Ms. Summers’ expertise. She is excel at creating an exceptional work environment by building strong relationships between departments and individuals. She is an integral part of creating a cohesive and strong business. She tackles the everyday and unique challenges that arise with positivity and ingenuity while making sure the work environment is safe, efficient, and friendly for everyone. Having always recognized and championing the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of life, both personally and professionally, Shade has focused on furthering her knowledge and experience with extensive training and certifications in today’s most relevant topic around DE&I.
